Bioeden harvests stem cells from teeth.

The debate on embryonic stem cells continues to rage on, particularly contrasted against the background of the republican presidential debate.

One company, Bioeden, has a service that could render much of that debate unnecessary.  Assuming that the stem cells they gather from teeth are as good if not better than embryonic stem cells, we may see a shift in poistions of some of the proponents.

Then again, if you end up needing stem cells prior to the age of 5, this may just be a more economical way of keeping stem cells for the family in the long run.
